...Threat for heavy rainfall and flash flooding will continue to
decrease this weekend... 

Flood Watches are in effect for parts of South Florida.

At 1000 PM EDT...A weakening stationary front remained draped
across North Florida and the Florida Panhandle with a trough of
low pressure to the south across Central Florida. Anomalous
moisture continued to stream north out of the Gulf of Mexico into
Central and South Florida. Radar indicated scattered showers and
thunderstorms producing moderate to locally heavy rainfall along
the Gulf Coast of Central Florida and isolated light showers and
thunderstorms over parts of South Florida.

The threat for heavy rainfall and flash flooding will continue to
decrease over the weekend, but scattered afternoon showers and
thunderstorms will be possible each day. Isolated instances of
flash flooding may be possible if heavier showers or storms move
over areas that have already received heavy rainfall over the past
week. There is a Marginal Risk of Excessive Rainfall in effect for
parts of Central and South Florida through Saturday.
