At 900 AM CDT...Tropical Depression Alberto was located over
eastern-central Mexico, and the broad circulation around Alberto
was bringing showers and thunderstorms to southern Texas. National
Weather Service Doppler Radar indicated light to moderate rain
bands moving across southern Texas. Below are preliminary rainfall
and wind observations associated with Alberto. For information
